"OUR BAND" > Bird School of Music
Bird School of Music in San Francisco offers an opportunity for kids to learn the fundementals of music, form bands, and perform (on the in-house stage) as if they're the next WHO, BEATLES, FOO FIGHTERS, whatever. (A Bay Area School of Rock kind of thing.) Some of these bands are extraordinary.
Special shout out to Lane Murchison, who runs the school. And runs it well.
